Cancer Screening Initiative

About the Initiative

The Anchored For Good Cancer Screening Initiative was created to support members of the Naval Aviation community by promoting awareness and access to proactive cancer screening.

Cancer diagnoses are rising among adults under 50, and many aviation families are facing these diagnoses in the middle of careers, raising children, and building their lives.

Anchored For Good believes that informed, proactive health decisions can make a meaningful difference. Through this initiative, we aim to help aviation families better understand screening opportunities and take steps toward early detection.

Our goal is simple: to ensure members of the aviation community have access to information, resources, and support when it comes to their health.

    Early detection can change outcomes.

Early detection gives individuals the opportunity to identify potential health concerns before symptoms appear and when treatment options may be more effective.

Through the Anchored for Good Cancer Screening Initiative, we aim to help members of the Naval Aviation community learn about proactive screening options and take informed steps toward protecting their long-term health.

Our goal is to make information and screening opportunities more accessible so aviation families can make proactive decisions about their care.

Through the generosity of our supporters, Anchored For Good is working to expand access to cancer screening opportunities for members of the Naval Aviation community.

    Why This Matters

Cancer diagnoses are rising among adults under 50 across the United States, with increasing rates in cancers such as breast, colorectal, kidney, pancreatic, and thyroid.

Within the aviation community, there are also concerns. Studies have shown that military aircrew experience higher rates of certain cancers compared to the general population.

These trends highlight the importance of proactive health monitoring and early detection.

Anchored For Good is committed to helping aviation families access information and opportunities for early cancer screening whenever possible.
