Our Commitment To Transparency

At Anchored for Good, transparency isn’t just a principle—it’s a promise.
Every dollar counts because every family matters. Every dollar raised supports active duty Naval Aviation families facing cancer — through direct support and the fundraising efforts that make our mission possible. Anchored For Good is fully volunteer-powered, and we’re committed to transparency in how your giving creates impact.

How your gift helps:

We meet families where they are, with practical, emotional, and financial support, including, but not limited to:

  • Mental health services (counseling, therapy, grief support)

  • Childcare help (during treatment or hospital stays)

  • Travel assistance (flights, lodging, gas cards for out-of-state care)

  • Support for second opinions and advanced treatments

  • Help at home (cleaning, lawn care, household tasks)

  • Meals or grocery cards, based on family need

  • Early cancer screenings not covered by military insurance

  • Personalized care kits for each family we assist

  • Cancer Screening Initiative coming in 2026

Every family’s story is different—so we don’t use a one-size-fits-all approach. We listen, assess, and respond to each family’s unique situation.

Built on Trust. Focused on Impact.

Anchored For Good was founded in 2025 with a simple commitment: to stand in the gap for Naval Aviation families facing cancer and help expand access to cancer screening within our community.

We believe the people who invest in this mission deserve to know how their support is being used. As a young organization, we are committed to responsible stewardship, transparency, and building AFG in a way that can serve families for years to come.

Our inaugural fundraising efforts generated the financial foundation that allowed AFG to expand family support, launch cancer screening opportunities, and enter 2026 prepared to serve more of the Naval Aviation community.

Putting Those Dollars to Work

Since launch, AFG has provided practical assistance to families navigating cancer, including meals during treatment and hospitalization, travel assistance, lawn care, Anchor Kits, and other immediate needs.

In 2026, AFG also launched its early cancer detection initiative. Over 125 people expressed interest, and 68 screening opportunities have been funded and codes issued to eligible participants.

Responsible Stewardship

AFG maintains funds to ensure we can respond when families need help while continuing to invest in screening opportunities and sustainable program growth.
